The Type SUB is specifically designed for use with deep well submersible pump motors and submersible waste water pump motors. Because these motors are much more specialized than standard T- frame motors, they generally require more amps for a given horsepower than the standard motor does. Therefore, the Type SUB is designed and built to handle the extra load requirements of this type motor.
